How do you keep Your pH steady and stable

At night when my skimmer is off my pH drops low. Then during morning when it’s on 8 hours it increases.

I don’t want it on more than 8 hours otherwise it skims too much nutrients.

how are you guys doing with pH?

Here’s my apex dash you can see the drop in pH over night

You would see less of a swing if you ran it 8 hours when the lights are off. I have a very oversized skimmer and run it 24/7, never understood not running it all the time.
