ive been having a problem with majanos for along time ive tried aptasia x and boiling water and even kalkwasser and injecting them with magneseium but they wont die. So how do you kill these suckers?

Majano wand works. I've had luck with kalkwasser. You need to stay on top of them though. It's an unending battle once they are in your tank. If you don't have many soft corals you could try a filefish. I had luck in a frag tank with one of them.

even tearing them apart with tweezers works as they will not regrow from bits as aiptasia.
I used a "spear" - a bbq wooden stick - and just smash them. Had couple of them, never ever a problem.

I have used hot water and a syringe to kill many majanos in my father's tank, worked every time.

idk its only 129 from amazon prime so ill just buy it and try it if it doesn't work ill just send it back and one of my friends used a blow torch to kill some majanos.

Vinegar should work just fine. Make sure you use a syringe that you can penetrate into the anemone to get him good.

When I tried all of these things above especially mutilating them, they reproduced exponentially faster it's like every piece I ripped grew in to another new anemone.

I use aiptasia eating filefish I have one with a particularly voracious appetite for them.

I have had some success with kalkwasser, but not enough.I would hesitate to add to much of anything to the tank all at once.I'd imagine a large "dose" of either kalwasser or vinegar could cause more harm than good. That said,I think a file fish would be worth a shot.Great personalities on those little guys.

You have to be mindful of your livestock if you add a file fish. I added one for aptasia, and he killed three rock nems, but didn't touch the aptasia, which was disappointing. I had to get rid of him.
