Hello reefers,

How do you kill this type of Polyp corals without destroying the other corals?

What type?

I had those invasive lil buggers...i had to remove desirable corals off rock and do a bleach soak to kill them ...unfortunate i lost all my good life on the rock but got them nasty " freebies" outta my tank .

interesting thank you, I think I may just throw away the rock, and pick it off the coral frag. I got sick once from that paly. I will hopefully do this upcoming weekend.

Theyre wretched! Just do me a favor and dont throw them in the trash...might expose someone accidently. I would bury them .

ok was planning on throwing it in the dumpster. I live in the city I will try to figure out where I can bury it. I dont have a yard.

I have similar zoa/ palys growing like weeds. I bought a high powered laser I plan to start frying a few A day.

to be on the safe side I got rid of all the other zoas I had but was surprised these just appear everywhere now.

got it, I wonder how I can tackle this effectively for the corals that have the palys on it. I guess mask and gloves with frag tool outside to pick them off? I have found three pieces of corals with the palys

Lasers work, but be careful with it or you'll burn more than the Palys.
I only have other zoas by them so I’m sure I’ll kill a few on accident but that will be worth getting rid of the others
