I have really limited space. The top bin is RO water with float valve so I don't have to watch it fill
The bottom bin is for premixed salt so I can quickly do a water change and mix it once a month. I'll add a bulkhead to the bottom one and raise it so I can put a bucket under it. If water changes are easy then I'm more likely to do them
BRS has a video on water changes if I recall and they tested some salts to find that even with a power head and a heater they may take 24+ hours to fully mix.
