How do YOU make your water?

I have really limited space. The top bin is RO water with float valve so I don't have to watch it fill
The bottom bin is for premixed salt so I can quickly do a water change and mix it once a month. I'll add a bulkhead to the bottom one and raise it so I can put a bucket under it. If water changes are easy then I'm more likely to do them

BRS has a video on water changes if I recall and they tested some salts to find that even with a power head and a heater they may take 24+ hours to fully mix.

RODI all the way. I have a 6 stage with dual membranes and a booster pump. I fill both of the 50G tanks in about 10hrs. Water is transferred with a few valve turns to the salt container and mixed using a Panworld pump. I then have a Neptune DOS that takes the water from the basement all the way up to the first floor to perform an AWC. (System on the far right is drinking water)

Couple configuration notes that I found helpful.
- 6 stage with two standard DI canisters: I use a 3 way TDS meter between the two DI units. When the TDS creeps up to 3 out of the first, I replace it with the final stage DI and then use new DI in the last canister.
- Booster pump: Probably a better investment than the second membrane. I was running 50PSI and now operate at 80PSI. The output rate has increased dramatically.
- AWC: You didn't specifically ask about this, but its been the single best improvement in my system, not to mention I enjoy the tank more without lugging buckets.
