Hey guys, I have my barebottom tank in the pictures below. Everything I research for gravel is a cleaner. What do you guys use to remove those big pieces that fall off or brake off when first establishing your rock work?

Thanks in advance. Maybe im just misunderstood and those gravel cleaners can be turned up to high power!

How to remove big debri from your bare bottom?

Actually, what I do to clean up the sump is run a length of hose connected to garden hose I cut and have attached via slip fittings. You can pump it out or use gravity to drain.

I guess I'm confused by your statement. You do that for the sump? Im talking about semi large pieces of rock that I can not gravity syphon via my python water change kit.

I am having the same issue too! Hate myself for not rinsing all the rocks before putting them in the tank!

I rinsed my rock well. Putting the rocks together all leaning on eachother cause little pieces and debri to brake off however.

U can buy bigger diameter tubing and start the siphon manually. Should pick up most chunks...

Lol net the large chunks and use tubing to suck out the rest...
