How do you remove corals from frags?

Hey I have two star poly corals on frags in my tank. One is awkwardly placed on the dry rock. Is there a way to remove the coral off the frag without damaging the coral?

I use a clean steel blade and pry it off (hoping that there isn't so much super glue that it won't lift up). Worse comes to worst, I would use a dremel diamond blade on the base or cut the coral with a clean blade to extract (fast growing soft corals.)
