How do you remove soap from rock?

Long story short:
-put live rock and live sand into bleach+water for a week
-dry out in the sun already around 7 days
-not in town
-stray cat came and pooped/peed on the sand/rocks
-ask family member to clean the rock and sand
-they clean rock with water and soap

how do I remove the soap from the rock and sand and ensure that there are no more traces?
Does rinsing in water, and drying it out in the sun again help?

1:5 for 24hrs or longer. I’d give it a brushing too
