I just ordered a giant bag of Red Sea salt and am planning to store it in a 32 liter plastic bin. I’m considering whether I should buy desiccator packets to keep moisture down and the salt from clumping during storage.

In bags within buckets in basement where it is cool and dryI just ordered a giant bag of Red Sea salt and am planning to store it in a 32 liter plastic bin. I’m considering whether I should buy desiccator packets to keep moisture down and the salt from clumping during storage.
This is what I use only I put it on a empty salt bucket. Way easier than prying off the lids that they ship with. I have one that I've been using for over 4 years.Get a 6 gallon bucket and a gamma seal lid.
I second this one. Gamma seals are awesome for sealing buckets.Get a 6 gallon bucket and a gamma seal lid.

I do this too. I love being able to unscrew the lid instead of busting my knuckles open trying to pry the lid off.I second this one. Gamma seals are awesome for sealing buckets.
FYI Menards has the gamma lids for $7. They work great!!This is what I use only I put it on a empty salt bucket. Way easier than prying off the lids that they ship with. I have one that I've been using for over 4 years.
should all fit in a 6 (not 5) gallon bucket. BUT, if you wanted to get western...Still haven't found something that'll fit the big salt bag and seal easily
Same, and I even keep it somewhat outside in the Florida Room.I leave mine in the buckets that I buy them in and so far I’ve never had an issue with moisture.
