How are you testing pH? I know there's the titration tests, meters, monitors, and whatever else is out there. I don't necessarily need a monitor but it that's most accurate it would work, just a little more expensive.

I currently have continuous monitoring via apex, but have always used some form of meter, handheld, bench top, etc. Never liked test strips...but that is a personal preference, not necessarily anything wrong with them.

I use, an api, a litmus paper, a tetra strip, and a $14 pinpoint meter. i rarely test except when changing cal/ alk dosing, or when I started up the furnace.

I use a Seneye Reef, costs £100 (about $120) and it measures Temp, pH and Ammonia and records it every 20 minutes. It also calculates Ammonium (NH4), Oxygen (o2) and has a built in PAR/PUR/LUX/Kelvin meter :)

only bad side is that the replacement slides you need cost £6 each ($8) for a months testing.
