Hey guys,

How do you use marine buffer by seachem? Do I just toss the powder in my tank? Or do I dissolve it in RO Water and drip it?

No real clear instructions.

Also, is it safe for corals and fish?

I don't know what this stuff is exactly but dose the correct amount mix with ro and slowly drip it in. Can't go wrong with dosing slowly

If this is a reef tank, the simple answer is: don't use it. It is not a good product for reef tanks due to high borate in it. It is meant for fish only tanks.

That said, if you intend to use it to boost alkalinity, dissolve it in fresh water first.

If you are using it to raise pH, just slowly step back from the tank and put the bottle down before you hurt yourself. :D

Seriously, it is not the best way to deal with a pH issue and will usually only succeed in boosting the alkalinity too high.
