Okay there, name dropper. Does she know you're only with her for the fish & coral?I use isopropyl alcohol and wait until my hands dry completely then dive in. I do this because this is what my girl friend does at ORA.

Girlfriend works at ORA! .......wonder what his tank looks like........!
I wash my hands with no soap just warm water.
Some people like the idea of keeping hands out of the tank but it’s not exactly necessary.Zombie thread, I have three fresh water tanks, and when doing tank maintenance my hands always end up in the tank, that's a given. With fresh water though Ive never heard or been told you should avoid putting your hands in the tank, where as with salt water Ive heard this several times now that its best to avoid putting your hands in the tank as much as possible, is this a general consensus?
Awww very valid point! Some people like the idea of keeping hands out of the tank but it’s not exactly necessary.
think of all thecoral aquaculture facilities that have people with hands in and out of the tank all day long fragging and selling corals With no issue.
