how does a baseball size goniopora go missing in a tank?

So i had this baseball size goniopora coral on the back of my tank. Its been there for a while. I saw it last night. Today its gone. no where to be found. in my reefing career of 15 years i have had lot of fish gone missing in a tank but never a baseball size goniopora ! what do you guys think happened ?

i should add that i have goniopora garden on back of my tank.. it was in the middle. 2 on right of it. 1 on left of it.. and few infront.. this is the only one missing!

Logically it could have fallen or moved and you can not see the trees through the forest/garden. It could have lost all tissue to BJD, and it's now unrecognizable or someone physically removed it from the system.

It's a blessing in disguise. It's the fish tank gods telling you to get rid of the lps and deck that thing out with sps.
