Allow me to give more explanation. I want to use fewer plugs on me surge protectors. I have three Kessil 360 lights (and a number of other DC powered devices, as we all do). I want one power supply to rule all three lights.

peak light demands are 19v and 90w.

To link them all I want an inverter that offers 19v and at least 270w? Is that how it works? what if the rating is in amps, what's the number then? Do I need to leave a power buffer (eg. 310w)?
 
I use these. 100amp.
They work well. Just keep total amps below 100 on each one.
Easy to turn everthing off without looking for a plug.

Do all your devices have the same input voltages? In your case if they are all 19v at a max 90w you need a rail that supplies 19v@ > (number_of_devices x 4.74). So in your example 19@ a minimum of 14.22a. Amps don’t matter as long as it’s greater than your draw.

Yeah, three lights all the same 90w. So anything over 270w or 14.22a would work.

Yes. Just don’t plug in anything that’s not 19v. The easiest way to do what you’re trying to do it’s make an octopus rig with a barrel connected splitting your DC line out 3 ways. You could get fancy and put barrels at each individual line for scalability/future proofing, but I would probably just cut the OE harness and splice.

Yes, but you would need to put in a buck converter in the skimmer leg. That’s where voltage specific barrels can come in handy to keep you from boning yourself in the future.

Watts is voltage times amps. Or watts divided by volts is amps. Or watts divided by amps is voltage.
