I just got this green candy cane coral for around 45 dollars. How does it look?

Do you mean does it look healthy or how does it look as a coral? I can't help with health as I'm just getting up to speed with corals but if you mean does it look like a nice coral I would say "yes" it's beautiful! :-) I can't wait until my tank matures enough for corals like this. :-)

in terms of price? you got a good deal honestly. i’ve seen single heads go for 10-20$.

health? i’d have to see what it looks like once it’s fully acclimated.

Good price for a nice colony. The last photo seems to show a little skeleton, which mine did when the lights were too much for it at first. It did recover, they’re pretty hardy.

Looks very sad dude TBH. But, it should bounce back if you take care of it. The skeletal blades on the parimeter should not be visible. I picked one up a while back and it vegan to do that too, but after a month of TLC feeding it is puffy and normal. I bet they bounce back with some love.

Yeah I just got it today from the lfs.

Maybe just to do it out of water, give it a rinse, and try to get the hole tube out in one piece. Keep on it if you see more pop up.

How does it look now?

Time will tell :) i think you're good though, dr.zoiburg was right, vermetids can seriously stuck and get out of hand fast. Ask me how i know... lol.
I would just watch them after lights out after they've settled a day or three and if the feeder tentacles are out get them fed! I have noticed this is one coral that really appreciates an occasional meal.
