How does this Rubber Maid frag tank look

Hi y'all how does this look for a zoanthis green/star polyp propagation and frag tank. I'm not looking to make money but it would be nice to have it pay for it self. The filter has 200 gph and will house filter media like carbon and chemi pure. The bottom will have live rock. For light I'm buying a used LED. How does it sound? The container is a 31 qt rubber maid.

Yes it is a crack I'm just using the photo until I get one with out a crack

Watch the heater. I've had them melt a trash can slightly which is a lot thicker. I'd go to petco and get a tank for a $1 a gallon. I wonder if they still have 20 long

Actually I don't need a heater because my room stay the same temp all year and keeps my existing tank at 79. What should I use as biological filtration?

+1 on making sure the container doesn't leach chemicals. Dollar per gallon at petco and a 20 long would be ideal.

For Bio filter, just put some live rock in there.

I just picked up two 20g long tanks from Petco yesterday with the $1/gal sale, so they have them and the sale is still going on.

I have a few almost 20 years old from when I used to breed Burmese pythons of course momma was 18ft and 140lbs so she didn't fit to well

What is the water volume of your current tank... if this is significantly smaller you may have bigger swings than you might like... I'd recommend the 20L from Petco too. It's a lot more durable than the rubbermaid bin. But that's just my $0.02

Stability is key. I would set up a system with a heater. You may not be aware of temperature fluctuations that can affect your corals.

I put a couple softball sized rocks in my 20L frag tank. Worked just fine. Rubble would work, and you could eventually use them as frag plugs...

I found these ehime ceramic balls. They used to be in a fresh water canister filter. How do I need to clean them besides rinsing them in tap?
