How doo ok you plumb this overflow?

Hello so I was wondering how do you get the water from the overflow to the sump. Do you stick the pvc into the two holes or screw It on the outside? And what size pvc would I need?

You mount the bulkheads in the 2 holes in the bottom of the clear box on the back of the tank and attach PVC pipe to them

Website says the drains are 1” bulkheads, they use 1” pipe. Looks like they are slip fittings, you’d glue the end of the pipe inside the bulkhead.

1 inch bulkheads fit 1 inch PVC. It says there are 2
I use regular plumbing pipe from Home Depot.
It looks like this put together

Do you have the marine depot overflow? Have you had any issues?

I would only do the main, but you can do both. Ideally you will only use it once to adjust the rate of flow.

I was thinking just in case I wanted to stop flow from the tank.

Sump should always hold enough water in event of power outage
