How effective are spotted mandarine at flatworm control?

I keep reading that spotted mandarine will eat for worms but no one specifies how effective they are. Will they constantly look for them like a six line wrasse? Will they eat them even if there’s copepods in the tank? If you’ve ever kept them for flat worm control or just to enjoy let me know your experience with them!
 
I'm sure it's hit and miss like most things. For instance, my sixline pays zero attention to the flatworms (red planaria) in my tank though others seem to have some luck in this regard.
