How far along is he?

We know our male cardinal is brooding. We’ve seen the eggs. What we don’t know is how long he’s got before the babies are born.

We know that he hasn’t eaten for a few weeks so we put him in a fry nest inside our system.

Anyone ever successfully breed them?

Not yet, mine have spawned twice and both times he has eaten them. It usually takes 2-3 week for the fry to hatch.
