Mine was set to dose vinegar spread through the daylight hours only. I used the max number of events the simple timer would allow (don't recall the exact number, but like 10-12) spread from just after main lights on to just before main lights off.

Got vinegar mixed with my kalk. 60ml a gal. Doses 50ml every 2 hours 24/7. Adds about 9.1ml/day. 60 gal cube with 10 gal sump.
