How hot is too hot?

Fortunately, it's over - the a/c has been fixed. The tanks were at about 87 degrees most of the time over the last 3 days. I froze saltwater and continually added it, but it was 90 deg in the house and I was using ice faster than I could make it, so it was tough to keep the temp lower. Fortunately, everything survived with no ill effects. Thanks for the input everyone.

I bought one of those window units and stored it for like 5 years after the hurricanes of 04 , never even took it out of the box

I also have a bilge pump that I can run off a car battery just for recirculating in a bind.

Hurricane prep takes a whole new meaning when you have a reef tank…..

My prep involves a long extension cord and a neighbor with a full home generator that runs off of city natural gas. :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes:
