I have a 10 gallon nano set up that I always ran with nitrates around 10 and phosphate around .05. I have a new 35 gallon tank that I will be transferring the 10 gallon into. The corals include all types of lps corals. Besides the obvious, salinity, temp, alk, calcium, and magnesium, how important is it to match nitrate and phosphate when transferring. Is moving them from 10ppm nitrate to 1ppm nitrate too far of a jump?
