How important is WC in between Prazipro doses?

Like the title says, is a 20% water change necessary before the second prazipro dose? If it’s essentially out of the water after 3 days anyway just curious.

Removing the dead parasites/worms is the main reason. Siphoning off of the bottom of the QT removes both the dead critters and importantly, any of their eggs.
Refreshing the water quality to support the bio filter is a big benefit before it gets hit again with meds as well.
