The top tier of the fitting it goes in should pop up and then the tubing will slide out.

Its made to push down while you pull up. I have had them get stuck and its a real pain. I literally had to cut one and change a fitting once.

Good luck. I dont know if it is Quality Control or just me but I have exchanged 3 doses on 2 months. I was having issues with 1-2 pump heads out of the box. How long is your incoming supply tubing?

Pull up on the hose until the first plastic piece gets a gap under it. Then push the plastic piece back down and hold it, then pull on the hose, if she stuck try twisting while pulling. If that fails, cut line, perform surgery.
If you don't get the line fully seated back in the pump will not do anything. Should go in a half inch or so, if you don't feel it seat, pull it back out check the end and reseat it. I had 2 on my dos not work off the get go because the line looked like it was all the way in, but was not and was sucking air.
You can also blow through the line to check.
