I am thinking of getting this, but I really dont want them taking over my tank.
I have a 4 month old tank with only a few corals
Thanks!

Most corals will spread where ever they can and clove polyps are no exception.
They can be easy to control. If you see them going in a direction you don't want, scrape them off.
With the price of fire clove polyps, you can use them for trading.
I am letting 3-4 different colors spread where ever they want in my tank.

I put mine on a island and they creep along the sand but are easy to frag off the sand.

Some invasive corals are only invasive when neglected to be fragged.... others do spread around the tank like some types of xenia though.

I bought one lol. I’ll be mindful to make sure I frag them
