Wow. Definitely on the way out but odd for sure. Whatever ticked it off clearly affected the tissue and not the polyps so muchI'm really really confused.

I had this happen to a tank full of montis years ago after I dislodged a buried Zoanthid rock. Had been buried for months and totally rotting in the sand but was contained. Within minutes of exposing the rotting polyps all my montis looked like that. Oddly enough acros were unaffected and I think most of the montis did eventually recover. I have a few pics of them somewhere.
curious what was going on in The tank prior to this and is anything else looking off at all?
Unfortunately I don't think that is bleaching.....looks like RTN. Polyps are just hanging on it appears.
