How is everyone dosing and what do you dose?

There is manual dosing, automatic and even no dosing
Everyone has a preference and a purpose for dosing.

What method do you use for dosing, what do you dose and what are you dosing for?
Has your automatic unit been dependable or has it let you down?

I am set up automatic with my trident and am currently manually dosing as I am doing daily 2 gallon changes and my numbers are steady. I just added several acro colonies and have noticed calcium consumption and am reactivating the calcium doser with my trident unit.

I have a kalk stirrer dripping 24/7 with a versa, and a redsea 2 head doser using brightwell replenish, but thinking of pulling that and switching to TM K+ and A- instead based on Randy’s suggestions

Glad im not the only one. I just added Big acro colonies and in literally 48 hrs, my calcium steady around 422 dropped to 356. I even tested with hanna kit and Hanna says 361.

Tropic Marin - All For Reef, via Hydros (using a Hydros doser). Never has failed me once, levels stay extremely stable. Minor magnesium adjustments once a month, if that.

Full on Triton Core-7 controlled by the Neptune Trident. Dosed via 2 x DOS dosing pumps.

I want to add on a kalkstirrer on a constant dosing pump for the PH benifits but i am not ready to pull the plug in that investment just yet.

Might try my luck with a CO2 scrubber driven by an airpump on an Apex-outlet controlled by a PH probe.

Currently auto dosing Alk while I wait on my mag and Ca to fall since they got elevated when I had some tests go bad. Once I get everything stable again, switching to AFR.

I use a Kamoer x1 pro doser and I am currently dosing Tropic Marin All For Reef. The app for the Kamoer is very spotty and can be annoying to use. The actual unit works great. The only issue I have run into is my lines calcifying up which prevented the unit from dosing properly. I cleaned out the lines and it solved the problem. That was more of an issue I created though, by not doing maintenance on the unit when it was time to refill my storage container. I plan to upgrade my tank by getting a Hydros x4. Eventually I would like to get the Hydros doser and set up the doser through Hydros so I do not have to deal with Kamoer's app.

I use All For Reef so the Kamoer x1 pump is all I need. It's a great low cost dosser and I've found it to be pretty reliable. Aside from that I'll sometimes manually add a bit extra alkalinity (soda ash) or dose magnesium or iodine or nitrates or other elements when needed into my top off water.

Manual dsr trace daily.
Strontium weekly.

Other 2 systems are esv 2 part dosed manually. Same trace and strontium.

All For Reef on a DOS. Been going for 2.5 years but the calcium has climbed while the alk has dropped slightly. I’ve been manually dosing Soda Ash as needed while the AFR was decreased due to the elevated calcium.

I have been looking into swapping to an icecap Kalk mixing reactor while having the AFR as a complimentary dose. I need to get a pH boost which I do not get from the AFR. The AFR has been very stable tho and I like it for that.

I manually dose an assortment of other supplements

Seems, many are using Tropic Marin all for reef which is an excellent product.
