Looking for thoughts on my coral placement before I seal the deal and glue down the frags. Lighting is at 40% intensity currrently. Planning on ramping to 50-60% over time.

Thanks!

Mad professional par picture and amazing planning but I think you should just put everything where u want it and move it accordingly. Will be fun .

Taking these slow is the best thing in this hobby.

If you put corals where you want and they don’t like the area they will just be stressed. That Will then lead to them dying from the stress

I might think about moving the moniti a little lower. I try to think about what they will be like in terms of shape when they grow. Once that moniti cap gets big...and it will...any real estate under it will be lost as it will all be shaded. Just my 2 cents [emoji16]

Agree on moving the montipora down a little. My rainbow and mystic sunset almost got bleached up high. Moved them to the bottom just above the sand and they exploded in growth and color. Running AB+ so kinda high UV so I might be wrong but I think they like lower light. The good thing about super glue is that it snaps off pretty easy if you got to move stuff later

@NotSoCivil_Engineer
Nice planning for placements and PAR specific locations.
Are you going to add fish to feed those corals, or are you going to give them coral food besides light?

Holy cow! I never got notifications of the last responses here. Sorry for the late reply.

@KrisReef - We have two juvi clowns and feed reef chili and lrs reef frenzy once a week. The acans devour everything we toss at them!

@mache62 and @Waynerock - thanks for your thoughts on the monti. I googled deeper for full grown images and definitely agree!

@FRANK GRAZIANO - nice looking tank! I look forward to a year of growth!
