My tank is 22 months old and I just measured PAR today. I would like to know if this is okay for softies and LPS, mostly ?

I have 4 X AI Prime 16 HD. Tank is 48 inches long, 21 inches high and 18 inches deep, Lights are on 10 hours including ramp up and down.

The names of the corals I wrote are the actual corals in my tank. Some of them are not doing well.

Excuse the horrible drawing…

Bottom : 30-90
High bottom : 150-182
Low middle : 216
Top : 300-320

What do you think, am I okay ?

Seems reasonable especially if you identified hot spots and low light cold spots in addition to the general average top, mid and bottom. This is critical for certain types of corals. Others can adjust to different light intensity.

Thanks ! Can any coral live where I only have 30 PAR ? That’s an empty corner and everything I put near it dies, except xenia.

Maybe you answered your question already. I have a bubble coral doing well in 50 par. I have acans in my left back corner thriving and pectinia in my right back corner. Both corners are low light and flow.
