Looks great!. Make sure you measure the inside of the joints because pvc does not slide all the way in dry. Is this going against a wall? You might consider putting the gate valve near the exit point for easier adjustments.

Looks good. :)

One thing .. I wouldn't use check valves.

I agree with @MarshallB the gate is going to be hard to get to. Also if you decide to keep the check valve (which I really wouldn't recomend) then replacing it when it fails (and it will) will be a nightmare.

You mean switching the gate valve to the other pipe in overflow ? The. I would need to switch the pvc flip flop on my overflow to accommodate to that swap right ?

Also thank you for the tip of measuring inside. I was going to just eye ball it but that makes more sense.

You don’t recommend it because of them failing? I kinda thought they sounded pointless too. The lady at lfs suggested it.

OMG why do they do that? Yikes take it back before you glue so that you can get your money back.

Check valves are really unreliable and if you aren't counting on them to stop flow then yah completely worthless.

Thank you that makes a lot of sense. When I shut of my return it doesn’t flood my sump which is why I was confused

As others have said... loose the check valve. I had one, it didn’t get enough back pressure to reliably work.
