How is Your Tank Doing?

Overall it's doing good. It has good days and bad days - just like anything else. Right now my biggest challenge is a damsel who's decided to completely tunnel out a cave under one of my large marco flat rocks.

Nitrates are out of control! I've just been doing constant water changes to help get them back under control.

If I could just keep my ph under control. Just started using kalkwasser and I'm not a fan of the cloudy mess. Gotta be a better way

After a recent upgrade in tank size, I’m dealing with diatoms on some of the new rock and still increasing my light intensity a couple percent every few days but I am seeing growth! The other issue is the old tank had high nutrients but now I’m trying to not let them bottom out. All good overall though.

As a whole how are they all doing :face-with-tears-of-joy:
All are well.
20g nano
45 frag system
30g remote
80g growout

I just had a massive phosphate spike. Lost 2 acro colonies and a frag. Another frag and a monti cap are looking grumpy. Everything else seems fine and is showing decent growth. Things seem to be under control now, Thankfully. So, onward and upward.

60g - Almost everything seems to be doing fine, a couple corals are thriving. Needs some TLC but more so needs to be moved into my 125 that isn't set up. (I suffered a setback when I tore up shoulder at a curling tournament a couple weeks ago.)

40g - Needs rearranging and fragging, some of the corals are growing like crazy and I have plenty of improvements and upgrades planned over the next couple months.

28g - Too new to say. The coral is looking happy and if I can keep up on maintenance it should be a really nice tank.

Sorry about the lost acros!!

I'm just wondering how everyone's tank is doing. Are you seeing growth in it? Going through an ugly phase? or maybe you are just getting started on your tank. No wrong answers here!!
Considering things have been on auto pilot for a very long time .
My test results from last week and the only parameter that seamed off was the high phosphates 0.30 ppm using Hanna ulr ) with low nitrates .

Hi There Kind of you to ask. Red Sea Reefer 250. 6 months old. Cannot get live rock here so started with dry rock. Not the best. Nitrates and phosphates nicely down to 8.9 & 0.08 but got diatoms back. Zoa’s looking good under blue light. SPS struggling. Have reset the lights to factory settings. Could that work? 2 clown fish still tiny. Saffron goby, small tang and Eibli angel all fat and healthy. Missing the old cryptic sponges, spaghetti and brittle worms. Oh for a bit of biodiversity!
