Are they 4" diameter?

I'm having a glass guy make my baffles and he'll drill the hole for a filter sock in one of the panes. When I measure the diameter on my filter socks, it seems like 4" might be a hair large.

Looks like 95mm should be spot on.

I had my glass guy cut it 4” and it was too big. If the socks stayed centered, they’d hold, but if it slid sideways at all, it would fall through. I had to run a bead of silicone on the inside of the hole to hold the socks snug and centered.

I did a new search with the information provided above by responders and found this posting on another fish board:

Found drawing on Marine Depot where filter sock holder was 3.75" or 95mm to hold 4" filter sock.

The ones in my Pro Clear Red Flex are 3 3/4" ID.

I'm hearing a consensus:

3.75" (95mm equivalent)

... and just went and re-measured my socks, the 3.75" (95mm) is looking just right.

3 3/4"
