So here’s my situation: I condensed a Red Sea reefer 450 into a 20g long with a 20g L sumo. All LR from the reefer was jammed into the sump and a few went to the DT. I moved that from Ohio to DC, where it ran for about 6 months then transferred everything back to the freshly cleaned Reefer 450. The rock looks clean but I’m getting the Uglies on the glass where I need to clean it almost daily for the last several days.

So all all LR in the original 450 has stayed wet, heated and maintained for over 3 years, but it was just moved about 2 weeks ago from the 20g to the 450... basically a 500% water change, lol.

Should I be good to add acros or is there a time period I should wait to make sure things are stable? I have 1 acro and 1 monti that are still going strong, although paled our from the constant moving, I guess newly added frags wouldn’t have gone thru as many moves... I keep alk stable with a doser and a trident, temp stable with apex, etc.

You should be good to go. Buy a cheap test acro and give it a week or so to make sure.

I have 1 BC yellow tip colony and 4 frags of it that made the move and they seem to be doing just fine... maybe that’s enough to say things are good?
