Howdy, I'm wondering when I can put corals into their final position. Do you just put them there right away or leave them down on the sand bed for awhile to acclimate to tank conditions?
I have a few on the sandbed but every morning I'm having to put them upright after being bulldozed by the snails etc. during the night. I can't see this being good for them.
thoughts?

i have only had coral a few months but without a rack i had the same problem.
i placed into final desired location but i also had a pretty good idea of what they liked and what i was providing. Everything looks great so far and I only had to move my torch due to too much flow thus far..good luck

Thanks for the response. Yes, I was considering a frag rack to give them some peace and quiet. Or maybe I'll just place them and see how it goes.

Use frag racks and put them about the height you want them in the tank, I organize my racks by where I want the corals. I also made racks that sit on the sand bed for corals that like lowerlight. I used egg crate for the ones on the sand bed with some pvc legs and zip ties to hold the pvc on... The other racks are nice ones off Amazon with magnet's. Best of luck, best off starting low and working them up, unless they're aquacultured and healed already.

If you can afford it get like 3 because before you know it you'll have them full.
This for sure lol

depends on the coral. Some corals you should slowly acclimate to higher par within your system. If you know the par and what the coral likes you can always just stick it where you think it will be happy.

most of my stuff is spread out on the 4 frag racks I have because I am indecisive and most of the zoas im waiting till I can make frags so I can have the keep in my tank frag and sell from frag

I may have a problem
