Just picked up a haul of zoas for my new tank at a frag swap this weekend. Some have opened, others not yet. How long does it take for these guys to open up typically?

There are many variables. Give them time to acclimate. If after a few days, any that don' open can be relocated to area in the tank.

You can try things like moving them closer to or away from lighting (my experience has been that Zoas don't require much light). You can also try moving them into and away from flow.

Be patient.

Thanks. They are on the bottom, low flow. I am running 2 Kessil a360we and a reefer 250

Sometimes after dipping, zoa stay closed for a while, especially if they were dipped for extended time or in stronger solution. I typically dip in coral RX also and use more than recommended amount and it’s tolerated by zoa just fine. As others have said, just give it time and it should be fine.
