as the title says, how long can they go without lights? got quite a few high end sps. dun wan to kill them :(.

planning to try 3 days blackout to combat dino+gha atm

I have done 3 days with no light without any issues with all of my corals. That's the max I have ever done so I have no idea if they can go longer.

When I fought dino, I also wrapped the display tank with black plastic so it was completely dark. It was oxygenated via a sump skimmer.

Even if they fade, they will come back. How annoying are you dinos? For me, the dinos were worse so....

3-4 days can be done, your phosphate levels will really start creeping up during that blackout though, esp if there is a significant amount of algae in the tank, be sure to keep levels in check.
If you have dosing pumps, make sure you dial them back significantly and keep an eye on alk especially so it doesn't start creeping up as well.

Best of luck in your dino battle
