How long can chaeto survive in the mail?

Found someone on ebay selling chaeto for a good price the issue is he is shipping priority mail. How long could it last in a padded envelope? Would it be worth the risk with all the shipping delays?

Look at the persons reviews and see if any mention shipping problems.

I've shipped chaeto out to people and due to an issue with USPS on one occasion, it took a week to get there. Surprisingly it was fine when he got it though.

Depends on the ambient temp. Too hot or too cold, will lessen the algae’s life.
