I think if you are careful to keep all the other parameters spot on during the ordeal the corals will have to deal with the new location and par and current flow changes but 24-48 hours is a typical transit time for coral harvest to holding tank to transoceanic flight and acclimation in the LFS or wholesalers tanks. I would try to make certain the corals are healthy and happily growing in the old tank before making the change because it will be a challenge to their health to make these changes.
A typhoon could probably darken the skies for a couple of days and the corals pull through and recover if they don't get broken loose and swept into the abyss.

If you feed them some dissolved foods, it might help them deal with it. You could also have the tank get some sunlight

Thanks for all the advice. I was thinking same about the weather. I wont be able to get the hold tank much sunlight. Its all matter of coordinating time for tank plummer.

I see no mention of coral. If no coral, you can go indefinitely without lights.

When I tore down my tank to have new floors put down, my livestock including corals sat in a Rubbermaid tote with lids for 4 days before I could get them back in the tank.

Not a single loss except a melanarus that jumped and broke its back.

Stressful!

As mentioned above if no corals or macro alga are involved ambient light is fine. If you have corals 3-4 days shouldn't be an issue for most species. A few light loving species will start to suffer after 3-4 days but should recover if less than a 5-7 days. SOme species like some mushrooms and some leathers will do fine even after a week.
