How long can I keep my powerhead off?

I just purchased a blue carpet anemone and so excited! But the foot is huge and I still have my powerhead off. How long can I keep it off for or should I just put the powerhead back on? I’ve had it off for about 30 minutes now.

Yes the 2 powerheads are the only circulation but my sump is still on. I thought i can leave the powerheads off until the bottom catches but I guess not.

If return is still going I’d say a hr or maybe two is fine to be off.

Up to 4 hours is fine but you really want to keep the flow of water going and avoid dead spots, build up of detrious and surface movement.

Well, as a person that’s forgot to turn back on the return pump and powerheads after feeding. Then ran off to eat and the movies. Everything was fine when I came back. Lol That was a good 3-4 hours. I’ve forgot to turn my pumps back on numerous times for an hour or so. No issues. I now set an alarm on my phone when I feed. I get easily distracted like a squirrel.
