No. It needs light. What I have done is when the light goes off on the DT, I use it on the QT tank for the night. That way I don't need to buy a another light just for QT.

Unlike corals, your anemone can and will move when the condition is not right. They will move unless you put him in a prison. They will even just let go of the rock and float straight into your PH.
No light for week will stress him, but not kill him, however, I think you will have puree anemone soup looking into your tank soon if you don't turn on the light.
