I've got my Hydra26 light on a mini reef. I've had it running for 6 months and just looking at using some preset programs.

These two come on mid morning and run till almost midnight?

Is that much of an issue? How long should the light be on for?

It really kinda depends on alot of factors. What the strength of the lighting is, what spectrum it is, ramp up time (if you have that feature) and what you are keeping in the tank. Generally no more then 10 hours of full intensity light is a general rule I would say. It could cause algae issues or cause corals to bleach if ran for long periods of time
