How long can new saltwater be stored?

I'm wondering if I mix up saltwater (say 30 gallons or so) how long can I use it for small water changes in my nano tanks? Is there a time limit on its viability?

I have never done this but if you keep it In a airtight container with circulation I would think about 2 months. The problem is the ro water when exposed to outside elements it tends to attract pollutants.

I've been mixing my salt up as three weeks before using it with no cover for 8 years now. I've never had a bad reaction from mixing it up early. For a small tank I might be more cautious though.

The only possible thing that could happen is you might get deposits on the sides of the container. I left some in my brute for to long and it left deposits on my barrel. I cleaned it with straight distilled white vinegar and was spotless after scrubbing. My salt mix says to use immediately after stable and no longer than 4 hours after mixing. I use Red Sea coral pro salt.

Why do you want to store mixed water? I would store RO/DI in storage and make salt water when needed. It really doesn't take much time once you have water stored.
