This whole virus thing has me wondering. I have family that would help but what if I couldn’t instruct them what to do. I’m going to try to show my wife just in case but, maintenance and testing is hard enough for me to understand and react if somethings out of wack. It’s something to consider as your system grows in both $$$ and livestock responsibility

My 80g tank/sump is only 3 months old, I have an ATO with 30g of rodi when full, a continuous water exchange running with 30g of salt water when full and an Apex controlling, monitoring the basics and alerts me if something’s up. Assuming I had an auto feeder and no power outages or other catastrophes, what would crash a system first, yours or mine, run out of food, filter not being changed, ato running dry, skimmer overflowing(I’m not running one yet), dosing running out(I don’t need to dose yet, or something else?

How long would would your system last and why/how? Thanks for sharing.

3 weeks tops until my ato resevior runs out. I'm sure my fish would be OK snacking on pods and such in the 3 weeks but as soon as the resevior goes empty, it's all over in a matter of days.
