how long can YWG's go without food?

does anyone know? Mine seems to be either in hiding or dead. Cant see him/her anywhere, seems to have disapeared. Didnt jump, as i checked everyone around the tank, as well as the overflow and sump, however it is no where to be seen. When feeding the other fish, it didnt come out. Is it a goner? How long can they go without food? I dont want it to starve if it isnt dead yet

Mine hides for months at a time. I always assume it's dead, then suddenly he appears out of some cave again.

Same. Mine will disappear for about a month then reappear for a couple weeks. Almost replaced him for dead the first time but now know better. I wouldn't worry yet if I were you.

Mine are constantly spawning and unless I look way back in a cave, I never see the female, but the male comes out ocasionally to eat.
