How long copper for velvet / ich

I'm 30 days in to 76 days fallow. I had a mimic get flukes 2 times and decided to just get rid of everything in there.

I see two different numbers for copper treatment. Some people say 30 days, some say 14 days. I thought 14 days was standard but just read on humblefish it's 30 days. I had the fish at hyposalinity for 3 weeks in my second tank, but want to run 14 days copper and 12 days prazi just to make sure it is all gone and since the display (220) is fallow anyway.

treatment is a full 30 days at therapeutic level 2.25-2.5 for coppersafe or 5 for cupramine and fallow is 6-8 weeks
Also it’s copper or hypo but you don’t want to do both at the same time
Prazi- treat for 8 day interval, change water and follow with one more 8 day treatment interval

From what I read which I did religiously, himblefish says 14 days copper but you then must move to another tank and reuse nothing and observe for 2 weeks in no medicine. The 30 days is if you don’t move to another tank and keep it in only one Qt tank. I think it has to do that the copper shields the fish from re infection but you have to move the fish to another tank. The 30 days ensures it was all killed.

I mainly was wondering for myself and seeking other input from what I have read because it is confusing. Makes me think I can do 14 days copper and then transfer to another tank ( seems good for some copper sensitive fish).

I just had a bout of velvet myself.
I followed @vetteadvice from another post or two and did 30 days of coppersafe at 2.5 therapeutic level. Fallow display tank for 76 days.
I have also installed a UV sterilizer and will be only buying quarantined fish moving forward as my wife is not a big fan of the sperate setup. So I'll let the pros do it.
