Starting LCA Dino treatment in a couple of days. How long do you typically have to dose and what are the conditions you would be looking for to stop dosing?

Not sure what LCA means, but I'd slow silicate dosing when the dinos are gone, or sooner if the diatoms become a pest. I might never stop dosing because I think silicate dosing is generally desirable for most reef tanks and is something I did for years.

Thanks for the quick reply!

I don't remember exactly but I used two of the little Brightwell glass bottles and my system is 70 gallons. I was adding like 4-5 times the recommended dose for a while. It did work.
