How long do you typically wait to move a new frag?

I picked up a Purple/Green hammer from LFS that I've been eyeing during their Black Friday sale. I put it in an area above my 'shrooms, but it never opened fully in 3 days (which is unusual for me - my other frags are fully open by the end of the second day). I think this area might be too high of flow. A couple of the heads were randomly getting hit pretty good, so I opted to move to to the other side of the tank at roughly the same height avoid light shock.

That’s about the same for me, if its not happy in two or three days it gets moved. Nice looking hammer, hope it settles in for you soon.
