How long does HA6 silicon take to cure

HI all as the title says I've built a custom 3m x 1m in 15mm glass

I think the quoted is 1mm of silicon equals 1 day of curing time


is this still the same ?/ I've used HA6 but i have 40mm of silicon on the base

just seen this say 3mm per day

How did things work out? These posts come regulary on aquarium forums with the regular reply x milimeter per day.

Just wanna stress to also consider this for the centered euro braces, that often are quite wide, glued on the lateral ones, creating the deepest silicone pockets of the whole tank. The depth/time for these could be for example 10cm/33days (for a 20cm wide EB glued in a 20x20cm rectangle) with the silicone mentioned here.

The center/middle EBs may take much load, neverthless I see many people fill their tanks only considering the drying time for the silicone strains along the windows.

This could theoretically result in an invisible ring of silicone weakness between the two pieces of eurobraces.

Hope to hear everyone take & opinions on this. If you think my reasoning is overkill, awesome, or other.
