How long does it take for a BTA to heal after splitting?

My largest RBTA split last night and has mostly closed up, but there is still about a 1cm gap between the two sides of each anemone. My clownfish is still hosting them , but she is very gentle and doesn't thrash around in it like most clowns. Will that be a problem?

Could be a couple of weeks! all depends on the health of the specimen so there is no definitive amount of time, hope that helps!

My Rainbow Bubble tip split into a total of 3 over night a week ago. They all were out 2 days later. It all depends on the tank, no tank is the same. Congrats on the split, I didn't want mine to split, being I have an SPS tank and don't want them to sting my acros.

Yeah, i had a large rainbow bta that split into 3. It never moved, then one night went into hiding, split into 3, 1 came out the next night and 2 stayed in hiding for 2 weeks. Now, all 3 out and look great. Clown uses all 3 now.
