How long does it take for A4R to digest?

I am wondering if anyone is aware how long in takes from the dosing A4R to the time that the carbo-calc breaks down to available alkalinity?

I am wondering if anyone is aware how long in takes from the dosing A4R to the time that the carbo-calc breaks down to available alkalinity?

When you first start out it’s a bit slower. Maybe a couple days for it to get up to speed. After that it is just constantly being “digested” into useable alk. I think it depends on the specific tank but it seems to be under a day if you dose all at one time. I dose throughout the day and it stays consistent.

Hi , usually is quite fast with several hours, Depending on the tank it can need also bit longer in some tanks
