How long does RO water stay fresh for?

Hello fellow reefers,

Recently purchased an ATO and have installed it tonight. Currently been topping up about 1.5l per week so have got a 5l water container as a reservoir for my ATO, which should last about 3 weeks. Will RO water stay fresh for this long? How long will RO water stay fresh?

It will stay "fresh" until you contaminate it. Vacuum seal it, it will last for years.

Yeah it’s a sealed water container, just drilled 2 small holes in cap for return pipe and power supply.

It's water, so unless you are storing it in something that is going to leech stuff into its pretty much good forever

I thought rodi water absorbed co2 from the air over time ?

If it is in a container with a lid and nothing can really get inside, 3 weeks is absolutely fine.
